Foot Scrubber Use Protocol

1. Wet feet and Foot Scrubber. Do not use foot scrubber dry, or on dry feet.

2. Add a few drops of liquid soap, or cleansing gel. Instead of soap, you can also use 1 tsp. of our Exfoliating Foot Scrub. Avoid getting the crushed pumice from the scrub in a jetted foot bath by wiping off the scrub from the client's with a towel and rinsing the Foot Scrubber separately.
3. Gently scrub heels and the bottom of feet with the “pumicey” side. Be careful not to scrub too hard. Go back over scrubbed areas with the "washboard" side to polish and smooth rough skin on feet.

4. When finished, use a nail brush to remove dead skin and dirt from the Foot Scrubber, rinsing frequently.

5. Sanitize by soaking in a sanitizing solution for 20 minutes, or by processing through an Autoclave. Using Barbicide will darken the Foot Scrubber but will not damage it in any other way.

6. After sanitizing, store the Foot Scrubber in a dry place.

Interesting Tips
  • Putting the Foot Scrubber in the towel warmer wrapped in a washcloth adds a very nice heat element to a pedicure. Alternatively, you can soak the Foot Scrubber in warm water before using it.
  • You can also add the retail price of the Foot Scrubber onto the price of your regular pedicure and then give your client the Foot Scrubber to take home with them, or if you store nail tools separately for a client, you can store it with them.
