Frequently Asked Questions

What is your minimum order? 

Our minimum online order is $100.  If you would like to place a smaller order, please contact us at 888-445-3368, and be aware that a $20 "Under Minimum" fee will be added to your invoice.

Do you have restricted territories?

We do not have restricted territories. Please call our office and we can check by zip code for any nearby stores. If something turns up, sometimes stores can split the line. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that no one else will be carrying it, since we may ship to a different address than the store address.

If I’m not comfortable ordering online, how else can I place an order?

Easy! We can always take your order over the phone.  Just call us toll-free at 888-445-3368.  We can also send you a Wholesale Order Form via fax or email and then you can fax it back to us at 402-339-8826 or mail to us: at 9203 J Street, Omaha, NE 68127.  For your own safety, please don't include your credit card number in an email.  

Is there a guide for accessing my account information, changing addresses and looking up what I've ordered before?

Can I get a wholesale catalog?

Sure! Just call us or email us and we'll send you a digital catalog and order form right away.  

Do you have a printed catalog?

We do have printed product sheets for many products, but the most complete product information is on our website. Many people do their research on the web, and then call us or fax us with their orders.

Do you take credit cards or can I order COD?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  Sorry, we no longer ship orders COD. If you do not wish to use a credit card, ask for a Pro-Forma Invoice. We will prepare your order, invoice it and send the invoice to you. After we receive your check for the full amount, we will ship your order to you.

Can I get Open Credit Terms with the Gilden Tree?

With rare exceptions, all first orders must be paid for with a credit card.

If you would like us to consider you for Open credit terms, please download the Gilden_Tree_Credit_Agreement.pdf, fill it in and fax it to us at 402-339-8826. You may include your existing credit sheet, but our form must be properly signed and dated by someone your bank recognizes as an authorized signer.

We will actually contact your bank and trade references, so please be sure to include complete information.  If you bank charges a fee for a reference, we will let you know so you can either ask them to waive it, or reimburse us for the charge.

If your account is approved for open terms, you will be notified in approximately two weeks. Please call Rosemary at 888-445-3368 to check the status of any pending credit applications.

Once approved, you must make payment  with a check or money order within 30 days of Receipt of Goods.  If you miss that deadline and would like to call us with a credit card, we're happy to accept payment, but will add a 4% credit card processing fee to cover the additional credit card processing cost.  

Net 30 Days terms are reviewed annually. If you haven't ordered for more than a year, your account will automatically revert to Credit Card Terms.

Do you ship internationally?

We do ship to many countries directly, and for most others we can ship to a freight forwarder for you.  Please contact us at 402-339-8825 or [email protected] to get more information about international shipping requirements and review our International Wholesale Ordering Acknowledgement page.  We must receive a signed and dated Acknowledgement page before your order can ship.  Sorry, there are no returns of any items once they leave the United States.

How can I find out about new products?

Just e-mail us at [email protected] and let us know that you'd like to be on our New Products E-mail Alert List. Then whenever we have new products, you'll be the first to know!

How long will it take to get my order?

We ship most in-stock orders within 2-business days, through UPS or USPS from Omaha, NE, which usually takes 5 business days or less in the continental United States. If you need your order more quickly, please let us know.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Just call us at 888-445-3368 or email us at [email protected] and we'll e-mail you the tracking number. If you've provided us with your email address and your order ships via UPS, we will enter that into UPS and they'll automatically send you tracking information.

Do you sell through any Rep Groups?

Sorry - we no longer use rep groups.  Please contact us directly for more information.

What is your return policy?

Please contact us with any questions before you place your order, so we can help you get exactly what you are looking for. You have 30 days to get returned items back to us.

Inspect your order within 15 days of receipt, and call us at 888-445-3368 or email us at [email protected] for a Return Authorization Number.  (RA#) 

We will replace damaged or defective goods at no charge.  Please report shipping damage directly to UPS or USPS.   

Non-damaged returns must be returned to us re-sellable condition and in the original packaging. After inspection, we will issue you a Gilden Tree credit less a 15% restock fee.   Sorry, we do not credit shipping either way.  Washed, used or opened items will be refused.  No returns of any kind will be accepted after 30 days.

Can you do custom embroidery?
Yes we can. Most all of our textiles embroider well and we have an excellent local partner we work with.  Please review our Embroidery Guidelines and contact us with any questions.

Does Gilden Tree do Corporate Gifts or Custom Gift Baskets?

Yes!  We've created some extraordinary corporate gifts and would be happy to help you. Please call Ann at 888-445-3368, and we'll help you get started.  Want to add a non-Gilden Tree product?  That's fine, too.  Just let us know and we'll help create a gift that reflects the recipient will love.
