Is your cotton organic?
Our Cotton is A Natural Cotton, which is grown in Pakistan, from defoliant-free plants, and processed without dyes chemicals and only peroxide-bleach. Most mechanically-picked cotton is sprayed with defoliants just before picking to make the leaves wilt and fall for a cleaner harvest. True "Certified Organic" cotton must be grown in accordance with organic farming principals, and there are several stages that must be verified by a certifying authority. Because there is no recognized certifying authority in Pakistan, there is no way to legally describe our cotton as Certified Organic.

Are your skin care products 100% organic?
Most, but not all of our ingredients are Certified Organic. We do not use any petrolatum, mineral oil, propylene glycol, dyes or sodium laureth sulfate in our products. We continue to phase Parabens out of all our products. Check our Ingredients by Product to see if a specific product is Paraben-free.

Why do you have such strange sounding ingredients on some of your labels?
That's INCI, which is a way of describing ingredients required by the European Union. We've provided an INCI to English list of ingredients for your convenience.

Can you tell me what a specific ingredient does?
Yes! Most ingredients are pretty simple and we've created an Ingredients Glossary to explain every ingredient we use.

Do you test on animals?
Many of the ingredients commonly used in the personal care and cosmetics industry have at various times been tested on animals, so no product can ever claim to be truly animal-testing free. However, none of our products have been tested on animals, and we are ardent supporters of developing alternative testing. For those who'd like to know more, Johns Hopkins University has a wonderful website at: http://caat.jhsph.edu, which explores the subject in much more detail.

What is your minimum order?
Our opening wholesale order is $250.00 and minimum reorders are $100.00

Do you have restricted territories?
We do not have restricted territories. Please call our office and we can check by zip code for any nearby stores. If something turns up, sometimes stores can split the line. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that no one else will be carrying it, since we may ship to a different address than the store address.

Can I download a wholesale Catalog?

Do you take credit cards?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Can I order COD?
Sorry, we no longer ship orders COD. If you do not wish to use a credit card, ask for a Pro-Forma Invoice. We will prepare your order, invoice it and send the invoice to you. After we receive your check for the full amount, we will ship your order to you.

Can I get Open Credit Terms with the Gilden Tree?
Just download our Credit Agreement, fill it in and fax it to us at 402-339-8826. If you have a current credit sheet, you needn't write duplicate information on our credit agreement, but it must be properly signed and dated by an authorized person. We check credit the old-fashioned way, by actually contacting your bank and trade references, so please be sure to include complete information.

Because many banks no longer accept a generic "credit sheet" as authorization to release financial records, we must have a Gilden Tree Credit Agreement signed and returned to us before we can begin the process. If your credit is approved, you will receive a postcard offering you Net 30 Days terms within approximately two weeks. Please call Rosemary at 888-445-3368 to check the status of any pending credit application.

How can I find out about new products?
Just e-mail us at customerservice@gildentreeb2b.com and let us know that you'd like to be on our New Products E-mail Alert List. Then whenever we have new products, you'll be the first to know!

How long will it take to get my order?
We ship most in-stock orders within 48 hours, through UPS from Omaha, NE, which usually takes 5 business days or less in the continental United States. If you need your order more quickly, please let us know.

Can I track my order?
Yes. Just call Carrie at 888-445-3368 and she'll e-mail you the UPS tracking number, and a link to the right place to track your packages on the UPS website. If you've e-mailed us, we'll enter your e-mail address into UPS and they'll automatically send you the tracking code.

Do you sell through any Rep Groups?
We have many reps for different industries in many areas. Please contact us at 888-445-3368 to find out if we have a rep serving your industry in your area.

What is your return policy?
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If you decide to return something, you must notify us within 10 days, and obtain an RA number. Please call us at 888-445-3368, or e-mail us at customerservice@gildentreeb2b.com. Goods must be in the original packaging and be fully re-saleable. If the return is the result of our error, you will receive full credit for merchandise and shipping, or an exchange at no charge.

Please notify UPS directly to report shipping damage.

For all other returns, or any returns after 30 days, you will receive merchandise credit only and a 15% restock fee will be charged. No returns will be accepted or credit issued after 60 days.

Can you do custom embroidery?
Yes we can. We offer high-quality custom embroidery at reasonable prices on most textile items. Please check out our Embroidery Guidelines (Login for link). What sizes are your waffle weave robes? Do you have dimensions?

How can I wash the Robes and Gowns?
Pre-treat for stains, and then warm water wash and tumble dry low.

How long do the Spa robes and gowns take to dry?
Because they're made of a flat weave, our waffle weave Spa robes and gowns dry in about 20-25 minutes, with no lint. Our velour gowns take about 20 minutes. Our Cotton Velour robes take quite a bit longer and it depends on the heat and how many robes are in the dryer. Normally expect at least 40 minutes.

How much will the robes and gowns shrink?
Over time, Our Cotton/Poly blend Waffle Weave garments will shrink very little - 2-3%. 100% Cotton items will shrink up to 12%, but are very oversized to allow for this. Our Cotton/Poly Velour items will shrink hardly at all, and our 100% Cotton Velour items will shrink 3-4%.

Can you use the Footscrubber in Spa Treatments?
Yes. Read more about it on our Footscrubber Protocol page.

How do you sanitize the Footscrubber?
Wash in hot soapy water and use a stiff brush. Soak in a sanitizing solution such as Barbicide for 20 minutes. You can also put the Footscrubber in an autoclave.

How do you sanitize the footbath?
You can sterilize a footbath just like you would sterilize a whirlpool tub, however we recommend putting a plastic bag liner in the footbath before filling it with water. You can then line the footbath with a towel and when you're done, wring out the footbath, pour out the water, and throw the bag away. We sell the plastic liners in packs of 25.

Can you wash the flapped slippers?
Yes, they are washable, but we recommend cold water wash and then air drying them. The heat of the dryer is very hard on the vinyl base, and you may see "curling" of the slippers when they are dried in a dryer.

Can your blankets or bath sheets be used for a facial or massage table?
Our blankets and bath sheets are wonderful for massage - light but warm, and machine washable. Because they are 100% cotton, after washing and drying, they will shrink to form "honeycombs" that trap little pockets of air. That's what makes them so cozy. We do recommend that you use them on top of clients, rather than as a base sheet, as the waffle pattern will be imprinted on your client's skin. Many estheticians also like our Waffle Weave Bath Sheets for their facial tables, which are just a little narrower.

Can I use your blankets for the clients who are getting waxed?
On top to keep someone warm, they're fine. We've found that the waffle impressions left on client's skin make waxing more difficult - so we do not recommend them as a table cover for waxing.
